Traveling to Banff National Park and the Canadian Rockies is a bucket list trip for most adventurers. Banff is Canada’s first national park, and while it is arguably the most famous in the region, Banff is surrounded by several other gorgeous national parks.
While exploring these beautiful areas, I had the chance to test out the Oliver Charles All-Season Quarter Zip sweater.
Read on to see how the sweater held up throughout the harsh elements of this beautiful alpine wonderland.

Think Quality For The Elements
The Rocky Mountains are an unbelievably beautiful place to be during the change of seasons, and golden leaves begin to pop up in patches among the deep green pines.
There is truly nothing like the sun glistening off a patch of aspens, gently quivering in the breeze.
However, mountain weather can change in an instant, from warm sunshine to piercing winds.
The best defense against the elements ruining a day in the mountains is to choose quality layers.
Yak wool offers protection from unexpected bursts of wind while still being slim enough to add additional layers for the coldest days.

Styling In The Elements
The lakes of Banff National Park are world famous. Lake Louise and Moraine Lake have a way of stealing the show. How could they not?
We visited the lakes on two separate days throughout our time in the park. On our first trip, we were met with a gentle snowfall, which quickly blanketed trees, creating a perfect backdrop to the deep blue lakes.
I layered my Charcoal Quarter Zip over an extra wool base and added a winter coat on top to stay dry. Just two days later, we returned to find that the snow on the ground had already melted, leaving only the mountains with a fresh blanket of white.
The air had warmed enough to show off my sweater on its own, and I loved the way the Charcoal color of my sweater popped against the deep blue of the lakes.
The depth of this color, paired with the red laces of my hiking boots, allowed for the perfect snapshots in this extraordinary environment.

Sinking Into The Coziness Of Yak Wool
After a busy few days exploring, we were ready to slow down and enjoy nature in a more relaxing way. We headed to the serene natural setting of Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park, where we stayed at the iconic Lodge. Here we enjoyed a day of hiking around the lake and a perfectly peaceful canoe ride.
As the late afternoon air grew cool, my All-Season Quarter Zip continued to keep me cozy as we paddled around the lake, immersing ourselves in the quiet beauty of our surroundings before cozying up by the fire at the lodge. The breathable material allowed me to stay comfortable even with the warmth of the fire.

Final Impressions: Style Meets Performance
On the final day of our trip, we visited Kootenay National Park, where the quiet beauty of the changing trees offered a perfect ending to our travels.
My yak wool All-Season Quarter Zip truly ended up being the perfect travel companion, holding up to even the harshest of weather and keeping me warm, comfortable, and stylish.
For anyone traveling through the Canadian Rockies or any alpine environment, I highly recommend this versatile and beautiful sweater to create ease and comfort throughout your travels.
