All-Season Cardigan

These are expensive items and I had doubts before I got my 1st one, an all-season, navy cardigan, which I fell in love with. This is my 1st all-season crew, the marled crew, and I love it as well. The breathability. Which allows it to work in cooler 32 degree temps as well as warmer, 70 degree days, makes it great for spring in Michigan. It is soft, light weight and even after cooking onions and bacon, does not absorb smells. I did a 30-day challenge and have nothing but love for this crew neck. I anticipate it lasting a long, long time. I look forward to having fewer, higher quality items like this in my wardrobe.

I have a full life with three kids in the mix, and I still love to look put together and stylish without a ton of effort. Wearing this sweater every day gave me such a good starting place for getting dressed and I needed less time to find something to pair with it. I actually pulled out some lesser-worn items from my closet just to see how they'd look with the Emerald Blue, and I recognize that I don't need so many choices. I wasn't sure how fresh the sweater could stay over a week of use, but it performed incredibly well. I hung it up on a curved hanger each night and it was ready for another outing each morning. That's impressive and I love anything that takes less effort or offers a time savings (but doesn't obviously seem like it). Ease of use is a huge win for me. Repeating a garment far more than I probably ever have in a week (even jeans) gave me insight to how I can differently plan my wardrobe and downsize without suffering any ill consequences. Wearing this through many more season and years is something I look forward to, and having a light layer that looks great to keep on hand will be incredibly useful to me.

I was looking for a go-to cardigan without pockets and this one DELIVERED. Soft and cozy, I never had to push the sleeves up like others, it kept its shape, and always felt fresh. So easy to throw on every day, first thing in the morning. It's like a cozy hug or warmth, yet I still wore it on warmer days over just a t-shirt, and I was always comfortable. I DID size up to a medium so I could wear it over thicket shirts, and honestly, the medium was PERFECT. I was a little skeptical because of the price, but this sweater has taken a beating and still looks great. I wore it over pajamas, working in a warehouse, errands, cooking, cleaning, light yard work, out for walks. I recommend this for anyone who likes simplicity and classic style. Just a perfect cardigan!

I got the all-weather cardigan, size medium. I like to get cardigans to wear as pullovers—the buttons add a nice touch, and you have the flexibility to wear it open if you like, though I rarely do.

I vacillated between medium, my usual size, and small, which the size chart indicated. But I chose medium because I knew I would wear it over a base layer, and winter sweaters are comfortable in a looser fit, I think. It is perfect, not too loose. The sleeves are a little long, but it’s not possible to make a unisex sweater and expect the sleeves to fit everyone. The cuffs fold over just fine and look nice folded. The lower arms are snug, which I really like. I want sleeves I can push up—which I do all the time when working or cooking—that will stay in place, then not be all stretched out when you pull them down. These do that perfectly. I’ve worn it about 5 times so far, and pushed the sleeves up repeatedly, and there’s no sign of baggy cuffs.

I just wore the sweater on my first hike. It’s around 50, mostly sunny, but breezy. I expected the sweater (worn as the top layer over a light t-shirt) to keep me warm in this weather, and it did. Even when the wind picked up, it didn’t cut through the sweater and I stayed warm. What surprised me is how well it kept me cool. Walking quickly in the sun, I got a bit warm and thought I would have up take the sweater off, but it breathed well enough that I never had to do that. Very impressive. I don’t have any other sweaters or jackets that can regulate temperature as well as this one.

A lot of reviews remark on how soft the yak sweaters are. This one actually feels a bit rough to me, maybe not quite as rough as Shetland, but not nearly as soft as cashmere. But that’s fine. It isn’t itchy, though I probably wouldn’t wear it with nothing underneath. My cashmere sweaters are nice and soft, but they don’t kept their shape well between washings (the lower sleeves really stretch out), and I’d never wear one on a hike.

I really like this sweater. It’s probably the most expensive sweater I own, but it’s also the most versatile, and I’ve already ordered another style. Also, as a few others have noted, pet hairs don’t seem to stick to it, and do far, I don’t see any pilling.

The cardigan is nothing but amazing. I participated in the 7 day challenge and just kept going. I chose the undyed color, it goes with ever In my closet and can easily be dressed up (with black slacks, a blouse and heels), as well as worn with jeans and a t-shirt or joggers. The fabric is light enough to not bunch but warm enough to keep me comfortable in A/C rooms and 55 degree weather.

Before beginning this challenge, I had high hopes that this sweater would be comfortable, versatile and stylish. The sweater totally lived up to my expectations! It went beautifully between work and leisure, pairing equally well with dress slacks and sweatpants :). It will definitely be one of my go-to pieces. I would recommend the all-season cardigan to anyone who wants to add a quality sweater to their capsule wardrobe.

I waited quite awhile before deciding to purchase this cardigan due to the price point. However, I would love to be able to buy one and done - something that will last awhile so decided to give it a go. I was skeptical that the cardigan would be temperature regulating so I am very pleased with the feeling of warmth this garment provides. I love how the sleeves are a little snug - feels good. I travel a bit and can definitely see myself packing this garment on my future travels. It packs nicely and does not need frequent washing. I recommend this OC sweater to anyone who wants a first rate cardigan. The one thing I don't have an opinion on yet is how it washes - have not had to do that yet.

After 7 days of reaching for the All Season Cardigan every morning, I’m still in love with this sweater. It is surprisingly soft and light weight but seems to weather whatever comes its way with a deceptive hardiness. I have just begun to see a few pills here and there, but pilling has definitely not been the issue I anticipated that it would be. As a fluffy girl, I was a little worried about the band at the bottom (please consider adding options without that band and more non crew neck options, guys!), but ended up not minding it at all. I am in a phase of life when I refuse to keep items that are uncomfortable, but this piece does not bind or pull anywhere and was comfortable regardless of what I had going on. The weather has been in the 50’s-70’s, and I’ve stayed fairly comfortable at all of those temps. I chose the emerald blue color to be a pop of color in my capsule wardrobe that I’m building, and I love it. It is such a pretty color, though, that if I were wearing it to an office every day, I might worry that coworkers would pick up on the fact that I was wearing it most days. My one nit pick is that the button holes hold the buttons a bit more loosely than I usually like. I’m pleased enough with this sweater that you’ll be seeing me trying out the all season V neck and the summer scoop neck soon!
