Winter V-Neck

Money was tight when i was growing up. Mean girls teased me because I didn’t have the latest trendy clothing. Also, I wore a lot of hand me downs that were from my older brothers. I was shamed on a regular basis. As a result, once I had money of my own, I overspent it on clothing. I eventually buried myself in clothing. I didn’t want to be that girl who wasn’t dressed appropriately or that girl that could be pointed at and teased, I have now learned that the world is drowning in clothing. I have learned that we have unsustainable practices. I have learned that our landfills are filled with clothing and we are destroying local economies by shipping them our castaways. I am trying to do better. With the exception of technical gear, I purchase the vast majority of my clothing used. I took applied to be a field tester and took this challenge because I believe in this company and what they are trying to do. I thought it was a cool idea and if I got a sweater out of it, great. I didn’t realize what an insanely incomparable garment I was going to end up with. This Winter V Neck sweater was worn for seven days , and it was an easy task . The color, called rust, went with everything I own. The yak wool is soft and the sweater is comfy beyond description. I travel a lot and I need to pack pretty lightly so to have a garment that can be dressed up, dressed down, alternately worn for hiking or worn to a restaurant, etc., is extremely valuable to me. I am a nurse and a ski and snowboard instructor. I wore this sweater snowboarding, and I wore it to work and it served both equally well. Who would I recommend this sweater to? I would recommend this sweater to anyone unreservedly.

A perfect fit, and feel. I love the color and the weight of the material. I wear it with jeans, outdoor hiking pants, and casual pants. It's very versatile. I love that it's made from Yak hair!

I love the idea of temperature regulating and fresh smelling yak wool. I am trying to cut down on the amount of clothes that I buy that end up being donated because they no longer look right on me or are not comfortable. I am fascinated with the technology being used to make these sweaters. I have gotten personal replies from one of the founders, Slater for an email I had written. He actually updated me on my sweater's production on Christmas day! Now, that's customer service.

This is a nice sweater well suited to business casual because of refinement, hand, and weight. Small details like a lack of seams is nice. i’ve only had this for around a month so it’s hard to provide a long term review. thus far i am pleased.
