Truthfully, I ended up wearing my OC sweater for more than a week. I loved throwing it on without even having to think about it. It definitely simplified my hectic weeks.
The targeted ventilation in the armpits made my sweater incredibly breathable. I wore it in the mornings for my bike to work and it was perfectly light and cool.
Whether for my morning walks, midday work sessions, or afternoon sunset adventures, it met all of my expectations of comfort, warmth, and style.
The high-quality 3D-knit khullu fabric made the sweater perfect for any occasion and made me rethink a lot of my other clothes.
It is just lovely. I am so excited for this sweater. 100% will order again. I am super, ridiculously sensitive to wool and am more comfortable with a tank top underneath but to be able to wear a wool sweater at all is an amazing feeling. It feels warm but not at all stuffy. I can’t wait to order more. Would LOVE to see some warmer colors like dark green, plum, or camel. Would get them all.
Honestly, the best things about this sweater are all the things that don’t stand out about it. The fabric doesn’t feel noticeably heavy or scratchy when you’re wearing it. The color (I got the charcoal) is perfectly neutral. There aren’t any weird details, like slits or decals. The length isn’t too long or too short, either at the waist or at the sleeves. The neck and shoulders don’t gap or pull. It’s just the perfect nothing-odd-about-it sweater.
Which is probably why I wore it four days the first week and another three the second week. At this point I’m honestly debating going the Steve Jobs route and just buying enough of these sweaters that I don’t have to wear anything else.
These sweaters are incredible. Great style, versatile, warm, machine-washable and made from yaks. Bought one for everyone in my family and we are all wearing them regularly. A few specific notes: I can wear this on the same day as my teenager and she isn't mortified that we are dressed alike since it looks different on each of us and I can accessorize a bit differently than her. It's indestructible since a teenager who does her own laundry still has hers and it looks brand new. I dress it up and down and even wear it as pajamas on some days. This is one of the best purchases ever. And Jack and Slater are great people -- we had the good fortune to meet them at local craft fair, which is how we were introduced to Oliver Charles. Thanks to you both!
Why you might ask, would anyone get excited about a simple grey sweater? Well first of all, it isn’t just any grey sweater. It is virtually indestructible, luxurious, khullu fibre made from the Yak.
I’m not a logger or an overly active outdoorsy person, just a simple 82 year old Great Grandmother that enjoys the finer things in life, ie quality and timeless style. Should I not make it much past 100, this remarkable work of sustainability will be enjoyed by a family member long after my demise.
Thank you Oliver Charles for you ingenuity!

We made The Jewel of The Sierras sweater a limited edition because we wanted something as unique as the summer of 2021.Read Post
We chose Lake Tahoe as our muse for the limited edition because we've fallen in love with the emerald blue lake and breathtaking mountains that surround it. Inspired by Tahoe's water, the tranquil sweater color attempts to mimic the crystal clear blue/green alpine lake.
Hopefully in 50 years (yes they will last that long), we’ll look at our emerald blue sweater and remember the adventures we had this Summer.
