All-Season Hoodie

We did have cool wet weather the week I wore it, but I've worn it since and even now that it's warmed up a bit, I find it very comfortable in the house. The material is not itchy in the slightest - no seams make it a very smooth fit and feel. The material just hugs - just the right amount of squeeze for comfort and warmth. Twice I got wet in it, and twice I stayed dry! Most impressively, it does not smell even after 7 days in a row of wear. Not even the pits! The color is gorgeous. I recently thrifted a bunch of old clothes including a pile of old sweaters. I'm really pleased with this new all season hoodie and plan to make it my go to. The color is great, but also neutral enough that I can wear it every day without people thinking I'm wearing the same thing. Well done, I have no complaints at all. I'll start saving up for a sea cell sweater which I would also like to try.

I’ve tried merino wool products in the past from a few other brands with pretty good results, and I was excited to try yak wool for the first time ever. I worried that it might get uncomfortably hot as the springtime weather in Chicagoland was warming into the 60’s and even a couple days into the 70’s during my 7-Day challenge. I only felt barely too warm one time, and it never got stinky. I even cleaned out my garden beds and planted all of my flowers and herbs wearing this most of the time. It wouldn’t get dirty, I could just brush off any soil and it stayed perfectly clean and fresh. It never stretched out, but I love that I can pull the wrists down to cover my hands when I get really cold. It’s a bit stretchy like that. It’s already my go-to sweater, and so versatile that I’m taking it to Costa Rica next week. I love the XS undyed hoodie, and I think I could have worn an XXS if I wanted it tight. The XS is fairly trim fitting and I could still put a t-shirt underneath when I wanted. I haven’t washed it yet but I have no doubt it will hold up really well. What a game changer in downsizing my wardrobe and investing in higher quality items. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to switch away from the hormone disrupting synthetic fabrics like polyester.

This was the perfect "do it all" travel sweater for my 30 day trip to New Zealand. I already knew about the overall benefits of wool for travel from t-shirts and dresses and bras but had never tried a knit sweater. I didn't think it would be that big of a difference but I was surprised by how nice not having any seams from the 3D printed knit really improved comfort and fit. The everyday hoodie in undyed layered with everything and was super flattering. I had people notice and compliment me on how nice it was frequently. I was also highly skeptical about washing a knit sweater with jeans but it worked just as described to knock off the minor pilling. Looking forward to trying the winter knit for the cold colorado winter and a seacell for something lighter with sun protection.

I got the All-Season Hoodie, size XS in Navy blue. I initially was worried about whether I should order a size up to wear layers underneath. I'm used to having to wear a long sleeve layer under sweaters because I don't like scratchy fibers on my bare skin. I didn't size up because it looked nice on other people in the fitted look.

I was also worried about the color. I liked the light blue, because I like lighter colors, but wasn't sure it would go with my skin tone (medium tan). In the end I chose the dark blue, because I feel like that goes with everything. I think I could have gone with the lighter color, because the blue is so dark it's almost black, and it ended up that I like wearing the sweater so much and I don't always want to be wearing dark colors!
Anyways, the dark blue does look nice. It's very classy and I've been pairing it with lighter colored pants.

It's also so soft and not at all scratchy against my bare skin. It's very cozy and perfect for fickle Los Angeles fall weather. I can wear it over a tank top and it's not too hot even when the sun is warm. It's a perfect underlayer with a soft shell for windy conditions.

I recommend it for anyone out doing errands, on a walk by the ocean, going to the farmer's market, having lunch with friends, pretty much anything goes with this sweater!

I was really hoping it wasn’t itchy. It was not at all. It’s like wearing your favorite hoodie. The temperature regulation was wonderful. Not hot, but also kept me perfectly warm outside in 40 degrees and windy. NO air gets through the weave. So comfy! I have already recommended to everyone I have seen while wearing it, coworkers and family included. I really love that it’s sustainable, no waste, made in the US and will last a lifetime.

I had been interested in buying an Oliver Charles sweater for multiple years. I was curious to see if the quality of the hoodie was worth the price tag. I had always struggled to find a wool sweater that was warm, non-itchy AND felt substantial in construction. Not to mention stylish! I am very impressed with the 3D knitting. It gives the sweater a completely unique look and feel. It is fitted to your body, yet not constricting. It doesn’t stretch out after multiple wears, and retains its shape so well.

The 7 day challenge really helped me to enjoy the utility and beauty of what I wore. The sweater kept me warm and cozy, but it also looked really good. And, I didn’t tire of wearing it at all! I would definitely recommend an Oliver Charles sweater to others. I was hesitant to spend so much, but I feel the quality of the sweater has been an excellent investment. I would much rather have one Oliver Charles sweater, than multiple sub par sweaters. Thank you Oliver Charles, this one is a keeper!

I really enjoyed the challenge! It pushed me to wear the item of clothing creatively and the sweater truly did get better with each wear. I usually wear a small but chose the XS based on the measurements provided. I'm glad I did because the fit was great. It was fitted, but not so much that I couldn't wear another layer underneath the sweater. I will say that "all season" could be someone misleading depending on where you live. Unfortunately we had a spring heat wave here on the east coast and the sweater got a little uncomfortable at degrees above 75 F. That said, I still wore it a lot indoors to stave off the AC chill. I would recommend this sweater to most people in my life. My friends who are very active - hiking and climbing - this is a reliable piece of clothing that is up to the challenge of being in variable activities and climates. I think of my folks and other friends who travel a lot. A sweater that requires minimal wash, is versatile, functional and comfortable helps with packing a smaller wardrobe. All of the emails and info leading up to the challenge was really helpful and informative. The Facebook page is very sweet and it's nice to see folks at various stages of their challenges and testing. Can't wait to try another style!

Fits great. This sweater will go with dress pants, blue jeans, skirt. I love the neutral color. Since retiring I wear a lot of blue jeans . You can wear this sweater any where. I have a cashmere scarf that would dress it up fabulously.
