My biggest concern with the sweater was my eczema. I usually try to avoid any type of materials that are really itchy because it really irritates my eczema. It’s been this way throughout my whole life, so I haven't really owned any wool clothing. Most of the things that I own are cotton, bamboo, Tencel, and things like that. This can be annoying and limiting sometimes because having to layer and layer and layer in the cold weather isn’t the best.
In the reviews, everyone kept talking about how soft this sweater was, so I thought if it's soft and it's not like other wools then just maybe it'll work for me. Overall, it worked. I would say that in some of the areas that I have eczema, like my arms, it's a little itchy but I know that once you wash it, it gets softer. I'm looking forward to seeing if it gets even softer over time.
Beyond the feel, the benefits of the sweater are multi-fold because it helps you be more conscious and be more sustainable. This sweater helps limit stress around like trying to find clothes and deciding what outfit to wear now. It also limits laundry, which is a big bonus. I would definitely recommend this sweater to folks who are looking to invest in nice quality products that last, are breathable, and are just good for the environment in general.
