Introducing Our New Dark Red Color!
A dark red color to effortlessly throw on when you already know what you love to wear.
What does the professional of the past look like?
I think about my grandfather Ed. Ed was an adventurous world traveler and passionate Imagineer. He's not so different from so many of us today. But he was born in the 1920s.
I can't fully grasp what it was like to live through Ed's era...
Although, with depictions from yearbooks, scrapbooks, Mad Men, and Mrs. Maisel, I have an idea.
Being a past professional was different - stiff formal corporate uniforms, offices with 9-5s, and stringent roles.
It's a new world today - versatile, expressive personal uniforms, remote work that’s here to stay, and careers that can change from chef to software engineer in a matter of months.

In the last 6 months, I've felt more like a "modern professional" than ever before.
I'm constantly on the go, working remotely, attending craft fairs around California, enjoying the mountains of Colorado, grinding in the suburbs in North Carolina, and now relaxing in a small town in Mexico.
Each day is different. I could go from designing a sweater to hiking to content creating to happy hour drinking, and with all that change, I’ve learned a few things about what makes me feel my best as a modern professional:
- Mental Health: Creativity Is Like Breathing. My favorite way to "breathe" is through morning walks.
- Physical Health: This one is tough and different for everyone. I like to cook and take big weekend hikes.
- Professional Health: Finding a personal uniform that simplifies life, making me feel confident, creative, and ready to take on the day.
I've been testing my personal uniform a lot in the last 6 months. As I migrate around like a goose, I need clothes that are easy to take care of, always comfortable, and make me look and feel like my best, authentic self.
With a light and dark pair of jeans, and a rotation of my Oliver Charles sweaters, I wake up and effortlessly throw on what I already know I love to wear.
I'm excited to add another color to my rotation, continuing the ritual that makes me feel ready to take on the day.
Get first dibs on the new color by signing up today. Plus you'll get an instant $25 gift card that you can use on launch day.

More people than ever are working remotely, prioritizing happiness, adopting personal uniforms, and finding new ways to simplify life.
Whether you're juggling big life decisions, powering through zoom calls, having rooftop drinks at El Techo, or exploring peaks of Yosemite, we hope our sweaters become a go-to for you.
If you believe that every good wardrobe starts with owning less and owning better, consider buying yourself an OLIVER CHARLES sweater.
